Replaceable urethane striking faces for the Otis Mallet. Every cap runs the same 3/8" thread, so any face fits any handle. Order one at a time to match the job.

Orange, Soft. Finish-safe. Ships on the mallet.
Brown, Soft/Medium. Everyday driving. Ships on the mallet.
Green, Medium. Second medium, so you always have a fresh one.
Red, Hard. Chisels, wedges, stubborn material.
Black, Tough/Hard. The heavy hitter. Demo and drive.

Threaded replaceable face beside the cast head

Wear it out, don't throw it out

The face goes. The hammer stays.

Every face threads into the head on a steel stud. When one mushrooms out, back it off and thread on a fresh one. The head and handle you bought on day one are the ones you'll be swinging in ten years.

Third season on the same head. I've changed the faces twice and the handle not at all.
